POSITION SUMMARY:
The Infrastructure Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the day to day functioning of the technology infrastructure that supports the Arizona Judiciary. This includes the State Data Center, computer servers, databases, communication networks, information security functions, disaster recovery capabilities and all associated staff. The Infrastructure Operations Manager is a member of the Information Technology Division’s core management team and is also responsible for coordinating with and providing services to the other functional units of the Division.
Additional duties include: working closely with the Infrastructure Operations staff to assist with technology transfers and generate operational best practices for each of the technologies that are deployed; coordinate with the Support Center on problem resolution and system change processes; and develop and manage multiple budgets that fund the operational environment.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelors’ degree in Information Technology or a related field. Relevant work experience may substitute for educational requirements. Five or more years experience managing computer and network systems technologies. Three or more years managing a technical staff of 20 or more. Experience developing and managing complex budgets. Two years formal project management experience and the ability to communicate effectively with non-technical users.
Travel level: up to 10%,
